Greater Valley Juneteenth Program

“Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom that includes family oriented events which brings together people of all races and religions participating in activities that are focused on culture, education and achievement. Juneteenth is celebrated in 44 states and commemorates the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation by President Abraham Lincoln in 1862. In 2013, the Greater Valley region will celebrate its third Juneteenth.
